LG Model LSXS26326W bought at Home Depot quit working after 2..5 years. Lost all food. Customer Service can’t help-based in another country. Wish I never would have bought it. You’ll love it at first but soooo many of us complaining about it after it being only a few years old, some with a shorter time. See other lawsuits about them. How are they allowed to continue this? My 2 year old Kenmore Elite LG broke November 2017…….. as of Jan.30 2018 it still has not been repaired. I have been given so much hot air from sears,Sears warranty and extended warranty that I can’t even keep up with all their LIES. I was scammed when purchasing this refrigerator. Originally, I was looking at Samsung but sales person at the Sears Store in Greensboro NC lead me away from Samsung because he said it was foreign made, parts hard to get and technicians to fix very difficult to find. However, he lead me directly to The kenmore Elite LG. Never once telling me that this was foreign made, parts hard to find and technicians to fix difficult to find. My long, sad story of the hell I have gone through with sears is extensive. They lie, The extended warranty and warrant is a scam. They do nothing. I have been held hostage by them for 75 days. My only refrigerator broken and I have a family of 6. Do you know the hell I face each day trying to take care of a large family without a refrigerator. I Hate you Sears and how you have treated. I was a loyal customer but I will do everything I can to kick the last piece of dirt on the grave you have dug for yourself!!!!!!

I just found out that my two year Kenmore Elite fridge, which broke on January 1st, 2018, after two visits frome repairmen, that the valve part they need to go with the compressor, is just now being manufactured. Of course, Sears cannot let me know when the part will be ready and it is my responsibility to keep calling to find out. They did offer that I could rent a fridge and Sears would pay for the rental when my Elite gets fixed. YEAH, right. This is a huge disappointment. I talked to a supervisor who could only read off of a script. So, who knows how long we will be without a fridge but from reading these other reviews, I’m not holding my breath.
I own a Kenmore Elite double door with freezer on the bottom. I have continually replaced the ice maker and the ice maker fan motor. This refrigerator is less than 4 years old and I don’t feel like it should be having any issues at this time. This is a Kenmore refrigerator made by LG. I think that the manufacturer should be made aware of this by the consumer. I purchased the Kenmore because the previous refrigerator was an LG. It was worthless. Within less than 3 days we started having issues with the exact same things. We were refunded a portion of those funds and I went to Sears and purchased what I thought was made by Kenmore or anyone besides LG. This Kenmore is an absolute joke as a refrigerator. Thank goodness I am extremely mechanically inclined or there is not any figure one could put on the ordered parts and shipping not including my labor to replace these items per Sears repair and replacement diagram. I demand my funds back for the refrigerator, parts, freight, and labor. This does not even begin to cover all the food that was frozen and refrigerated. I understand this lawsuit has been settled for millions of dollars. What I would like to know is whom is the monies going to. I would have not known about this class action suit had I not been looking for even more parts for my refrigerator.
Please include me in the disinbursement of funds from this lawsuit that has been settled. As a consumer of this same appliance, I feel like it is the attorneys responsibility to find and contact all consumers of this refrigerator. I feel like I and millions of others were not notified due to the attorneys making all the money and not protecting the consumer.

On 4/10/18 our $2,300 refrigerator, Kenmore Elete 73163, quit cooling. Service out on 4/12/18, declared it a “known issue” so no charge on the $744 parts (compressor, drier & valve) – only $300 for labor. Shouldn’t a “known issue” be free? Parts are ordered, will install on 4/25/18. On 4/25/18 I receive an automated call for “rescheduled your service” for 5/10/18 – Thirty days without a refrigerator! I escalate to 800-469-4663 “so very sorry, we will call you if any cancellations”. CRAZY . . .
A “known issue” should be recalled and then (in a timely manner);
1) repair appliance, 2) replace appliance or 3) refund appliance!
This is the third service since purchase.

We purchased a Kenmore Elite, double door with freezer at the bottom, less that 2 years ago from Sears. It quit cooling. Took 2 weeks to get a technician out. Charged $89 to come out. Needs a new compressor made by LG and other parts. Will be another 3 weeks before they can come out to repair it. We will have to pay for labor. Thank God we had another small refrigerator in the garage, but lost hundreds of dollars in food.

Just found out that my two year Kenmore Elite fridge, which broke on July 1st, 2018, after tested, the compressor is not working, is not getting cool. So on fourth July holiday which we have the big gathering where out on fridge, Called Kenmore they said out of warranty. just like that two years of $2,400 dollars is shot. This is a huge disappointment. Is there a class action lawsuit on this model: 795.73163.610 Kenmore Elite, double door with freezer at the bottom, Grab & Go, I talk to the repair this would cost $1,500 for getting new compressor.
